Coe Child Care...A Positive Place for Kids!

Summer Camp

We offer a great program for children and youth ages five to twelve. Spending time with friends and seeing new things are all part of an enjoyable, relaxing summer.  Core activites and weekly themes provide the focus for experiences ranging from sports to discovering the arts. Families can register for one or all ten weeks of camp.

    • Outside: Attention to fun, positive play and good sports conduct. Outdoor activities everyday.
    • Wheels: Bring your bicycle and helmet and improve your skills during the group's room day.
    • Great Books: Kids have time to curl up with a book each morning during our Book Break.
    • Cooking Projects: From salads to camp cooking, kids will learn healthy food and fun recipes.

Field Trips*

Field trips are a big part of the summer program. Each group take three to four field trips during the week to all parts of the city and beyond.  With our car seat equipt vans, staff are able to safely transport children to parks, hiking trails, and events throughout the summer.

Camp Groups

When you register your child, they are assigned to a summer group according to their grade in the fall.  Activities are based on the theme for the week and tailored to their age and ability level.  Fifth graders have been known to leave early in the morning for a day hike in the Cascades, while Kindergarteners would enjoy a hike through Discovery Park.  All children are with their groups from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day.*
